wow! just found this lurking in the back of 'tales of the old world' what a nice surprise! it's been sitting on my shelf for years...i was wondering if you have any plans to work the ninth canticle of tzeentch into any other stories kinda like the necronomicon? also i liked the reinhardt character, i thought thulman was going to make him see sense and he eventually would have gone on to be a witch hunter, regardless, it would be interesting if the character came back at some point, still stalking thulman and still intent on revenge...
streng didn't have a role in the story which i found strange especially when thulman entered the house of the corrupt merchant, surely he would have had streng for backup? i don't know if you've ever explained how streng and thulman came together? a story about this would be nice! ah well, i've got the new brunner short to get hold of in the meantime...

If I get the shot at a second trilogy of Thulmann stories, I think you'll see Reinhardt von Lichtberg return. I have some definite ideas about him and where his character is going. He was actually featured in an early outline for Witch Killer but, like Sibbechai's werewolf henchman Raban in Witch Finder, he ended up on the cutting room floor, so to speak.

When you get ahold of that new Brunner story, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. The omnibus also features a restored and revised version of 'What Price Vengeance', the original Brunner story.
